KNIGHT

Male, mixed breed, 6 months old as of 7/17/25 and 54 pounds

Looking for a brave new companion? Look no further than Knight! This young pup is ready to take on the world - or at least your couch - with you. Although Knight hasn't had much time to learn about the ways of the world yet, he's smart as a whip and ready to be trained by his new owners. He's a loving, affectionate, and energetic dog who's always up for a game of fetch or an adventure through the park. He'll need a patient owner who can help him learn how to be a good boy. If you're ready to welcome this adorable ball of energy into your life, stop by the shelter today to meet Knight. He's sure to steal your heart with his puppy dog eyes and wagging tail!

UPDATE 8/6/26

Knight

In foster care since 4.11.26. He's a very smart guy, and picks things up easily. He's crate trained, house broken, knows basic commands, as well as catching treats in the air, and sitting at the door before going out/coming in. He's very dog social, and loves to play. Needs some work on leash skills, and can counter surf, but we’ve been working on that, so it’s decreased. He likes to tear his stuff toys apart. Eats out of a puzzle dish to help him slow down. He can be a bit mouthy, but does respond to “stop”.
Knight likes to be busy, so I do a lot of enrichment activities with him. Remember, a bored dog is a destructive dog. There’s a great FB group called Canine Enrichment Ideas. It has tons of activities to keep dogs mentally stimulated which is another way to tire them out. For example, lick mats, snuffle mats, tying treats up in a towel, using empty toilet paper rolls or paper towel rolls and put a few treats in and close the ends by folding them. Also, frozen kongs (he gets one for breakfast) or kong wobblers. Freeze bone broth, chicken or beef broth in ice cube trays for him. Take them out one at a time so they don’t melt. He’s a smart guy, so enrichment activities will keep everyone happy!

Andre

Meet Andre, a 140‑pound gentle giant with a heart as oversized as his paws.

Andre arrived at the shelter as a stray, and while his exact breed mix is a mystery, one thing is unmistakable—this boy is big. Big in size, big in personality, and big in love for every new person he meets. If you’re searching for a large companion who fills a room with presence and charm, Andre is your guy.

⭐ Personality

  • Warm, social, and thrilled to make new friends

  • Playful energy wrapped in a powerful frame

  • Eager to please and always ready for attention

⭐ Skills

Andre isn’t just brawn—he’s got some brains too. He already knows:

  • Sit

  • Down

  • Shake

⭐ What to Expect

Andre is a strong dog who will thrive with someone comfortable handling a big, enthusiastic companion. He’s the type who will happily join you on adventures, greet your guests like old friends, and flop down beside you once he’s had his fun.

If you’ve been waiting for a lovable, larger‑than‑life dog to complete your home, Andre is ready to meet you.

DALLAS

Male, mixed breed, 5 years old and 75 pounds

Howdy, folks, Dallas here! I may not be a cowboy, but I sure know how to lasso hearts. I’m a big, lovable mix of who-knows-what (the best kind, if you ask me), somewhere around middle age — old enough to know better, young enough to do it anyway.

I’m a people-loving, treat-motivated, tail-wagging kind of guy. My motto? If you’ve got snacks, I’ve got tricks! I never met a squeaky toy I didn’t like, and my favorite pastime is making humans laugh with my goofy antics and “did-he-really-just-do-that?” expressions. I seem to get along with other dogs. I’m all about making friends and I’d love a home where I can join the family for all the fun stuff: walks, couch snuggles, and maybe a little taste-testing in the kitchen (strictly for quality control, of course).

If you’re looking for a big-hearted, silly, and endlessly loyal companion, come meet me! I promise to fill your days with smiles, slobbery kisses, and a little bit of Texas-sized charm. 💙
