HILDA

Female, Anatolian Shep mix, 1 year old and 75 pounds

Big, beautiful, and incredibly sweet, Hilda is an Anatolian Shepherd who is ready to find a family of her own! This gentle giant seems to love everyone she meets and has an easygoing, friendly personality that makes her hard not to adore.

Hilda is curious about other dogs and has shown a neutral, interested demeanor when meeting them. She seems happy to take things in at her own pace and would be best introduced to any potential canine siblings before heading home.

One thing you should know about Hilda: she’s a bit of a wanderer! Like many Anatolian Shepherds, she enjoys exploring and would absolutely take advantage of an opportunity to go on her own adventure. Because of this, Hilda will need a home with secure, sturdy fencing to keep her safely at home where she belongs.

PEPITA

Female, kelpie mix, 1 year old and 41 pounds

If you’re looking for a sweet, happy, high-energy adventure buddy, Pepita may be your girl! This adorable Kelpie mix is about a year old and seems to wake up every morning ready to ask, “So…what are we doing today?” 😄

Pepita is full of personality, loves being on the go, and would thrive with an active family who can keep her body and her busy Kelpie brain entertained. Walks, hikes, playtime, training, and adventures are all right up her alley!

When meeting other dogs, Pepita can be a little vocal and frustrated if she can’t immediately go say hello. However, she has lived successfully with another female dog and tested well with a large male dog. She’ll likely benefit from slow, appropriate introductions and continued guidance with her dog-to-dog manners.

Pepita does have a prey drive toward small animals, so a home without cats or other small pets would be the safest fit.

Underneath all that energy is a sweet, joyful girl who is ready to have fun and find her person. If your idea of a good time involves staying active, exploring, and having a four-legged sidekick by your side, Pepita is ready for her next adventure!

SPIRIT

Female, mixed breed, 1 year old and 45 pounds

Spirit is a one-year-old mixed-breed girl with ENERGY to spare! This playful, happy girl loves toys, loves to play, and is always ready for her next adventure. If you’re looking for a fun, active companion who will keep you on your toes, Spirit could be your girl!

Spirit has lived with another dog and gets very excited when she sees other canine friends. She’ll need slow, thoughtful introductions to new dogs... Not because she doesn’t like them, but because she hasn’t quite mastered the art of saying “Hi!” without coming on a little too strong! With some guidance and positive training, she can learn how to approach her new friends appropriately.

Spirit will also benefit from basic obedience training to help her learn some manners and channel all that enthusiasm in the right direction. She’s smart, playful, and eager to have fun, making her a great candidate for an adopter who enjoys an active lifestyle and is ready to put in a little training time.

If you’re looking for a goofy, energetic, toy-loving best friend who is ready to learn and grow with you, come meet Spirit!

DIXIE

Female, mixed breed, 1 year old and 30 pounds

DIXIE UPDATE AUGUST 2026

Dixie has come SO far since that scared, skinny girl found nearly a year ago with her sisters. She has learned that it is ok to trust people, it still takes more time to trust new people but once you’re in, you’re her everything. She has learned that she can relax, that the whole world isn’t trying to hurt her. She has learned to play and share with dog friends, except for food (her food is her food). But she has learned to wait for her food and take turns with dog friends for treats. I think she will need a home with a dog friend, the seperation anxiety is still there when she’s all alone. She’s a smart girl and loves to learn new things (for food of course). She may never be that dog that wants to go run errands with you but she is such a good girl at home with the friends she trusts.

This sweet herding-type girl has a gentle soul and a shy streak that’ll melt your heart. Dixie is still learning that the world is a safe and happy place, and she’s looking for a patient home to help her come out of her shell. Around other dogs, she really shines — her tail wags faster, her eyes light up, and you can see her confidence bloom! A doggy friend could be just the thing to help her feel brave and loved.

With a little time, encouragement, and some secure fencing for her safety, Dixie will reward you with loyalty, love, and quiet companionship. She’s the kind of girl who may start out timid but ends up being your most devoted friend. 💕

✨ Give Dixie the chance to bloom — she’s ready to find her forever home! ✨
