Trixie

Meet Trixie, a 10‑week‑old bundle of spark and sweetness who seems to wake up every day with a brand‑new mission: play hard, love harder, repeat. She’s the kind of pup who bounces into a room like she’s announcing her own arrival, then melts into a puddle of cuddles the moment she’s scooped up.

Trixie’s Personality 🐾💛

  • Playful to her core: Trixie turns everything into a game—shoelaces, leaves, squeaky toys, and especially you. Her zoomies are a full‑body expression of joy.

  • Bright and curious: She’s already showing off her quick mind, watching the world with wide‑eyed interest and picking up on routines fast.

  • Affectionate: After she’s done exploring, she loves curling up close, resting her tiny head on your arm like it’s her favorite pillow.

  • Social and friendly: She warms up quickly to new people and animals, eager to make friends and share her happy energy.

What She’s Looking For

Trixie will thrive with someone who enjoys an active, engaging companion and is excited to guide her as she grows. She’s ready to learn, ready to bond, and ready to bring a whole lot of laughter into a loving home.

Peach

Meet Peach! 🍑 Peach is a sweet 1‑year‑old girl weighing in at 47 pounds, and she’s ready to find a loving home to call her own. She came to the shelter as an owner surrender through no fault of her own, and while the shelter environment can feel overwhelming for her, she’s doing her best to be brave.

With all the noise and activity, Peach can be a little nervous at first, but give her just a few minutes and you’ll see her true colors. Once she warms up, she becomes your loyal shadow—affectionate, gentle, and eager to bond.

Peach loves going for walks and exploring the world at a comfortable pace. She already knows “sit” and is excited to keep learning new things with someone patient and kind. We’ve also heard she previously lived with a cat, which may make her a great fit for a multi‑pet home.

If you’re looking for a young, loving companion who just needs a little reassurance to blossom, Peach might be your perfect match. She’s ready to trade the shelter noise for a cozy home and a best friend of her own.

Nora is the definition of a gentle companion. She loves soaking up affection, leaning in for pets, and quietly enjoying the company of the people around her. BETTY

Female, shar-pei mix, 5 years old and 65 pounds

UPDATE 1/21/26

Betty was in foster care for almost 3 months, and only returned to the shelter because her foster mom had a medical issue to deal with. Betty is hypervigilant, possibly due to some trauma. She initially is very shy and withdrawn, shutting down in new environments, however, when she first arrived in foster, it only took a couple of days before she came when called, and went straight into her crate, which is her safe space. She hangs out with a couple of the other dogs, but doesn't initial contact. Once a routine is established, she follows it without problem. She walks ok on leash, but again, is constantly looking around to make sure she's safe. It will take some time for her to develop trust in a human, but once she does, she feels more secure. She is able to bond, and has sat on the couch with her foster mom, putting her head on mom's lap. Betty is a home-body. The best home for her would be one that is predictable, calm, and peaceful.

Betty is a quiet soul with the softest eyes and the gentlest heart. Found abandoned, underweight, and suffering from skin issues, this 5-year-old girl has already been through so much. But thanks to some much-needed care and kindness, Betty is finally starting to heal — both inside and out. She’s still learning that people can be good and that the world doesn’t have to be so scary. Right now, she’s a bit shy and reserved, preferring to observe from a safe distance as she takes everything in. But with time, patience, and a calm environment, we know she’ll blossom into a loyal, loving companion. We’re still getting to know Betty, but what we do know is that she deserves a forever home that will love her unconditionally and give her all the time she needs to feel safe and secure.

If you have a quiet home, a gentle heart, and the patience to let Betty come out of her shell at her own pace — she just might be your perfect match. 💕
