NOVA

Female, cattle dog mix, 3 years old and 48 pounds

Looking for a loyal best friend who wants nothing more than to be by your side? Meet Nova, a beautiful 3-year-old Aussie/Shepherd mix with a heart as big as her personality!

Nova loves people and is happiest when she's spending time with her humans. At 48 pounds, she's convinced she's the perfect lap dog, and honestly, she might just convince you too! She already knows "sit," has great indoor manners, and is a calm, mellow companion around the house. When it comes to other dogs, Nova prefers a proper introduction before making new friends, so a meet-and-greet with any potential canine siblings is recommended.

If you're looking for a loving, loyal companion who's equal parts cuddle buddy and adventure partner, Nova is ready to become your new best friend!

Pearl

Pearl is a mellow, easy‑going husky who breaks all the stereotypes about the breed. At 4 years old and 60 pounds, she brings a calm, gentle presence to every room she enters. She’s wonderfully well‑mannered on leash, enjoys her daily walks, and loves exploring the world at a relaxed pace.

Playtime is one of her favorite parts of the day — Pearl lights up when she gets to enjoy her toys, whether she’s tossing them around or settling in for a good chew. She’s also a social girl who genuinely enjoys the company of another canine friend, making her a great fit for homes with an existing dog.

Most of all, Pearl has the temperament that makes her an excellent family dog. Her sweet nature, steady energy, and affectionate personality make her easy to love and even easier to live with.

NIBBLES

Female, mixed breed, 2 years oldd and 44 pounds

This playful girl is full of energy and always ready for fun. Whether it’s a game of fetch, a walk around the neighborhood, or zoomies in the yard, Nibbles is happiest when she’s on the move and spending time with her people. She already knows how to sit and is eager to keep learning, especially if toys or treats are involved!

Nibbles would thrive with an active family that can keep up with her playful personality and give her the exercise and structure she needs to shine. Because she can be a little selective with other dogs, she’ll need to meet any potential K9 siblings before heading home.

If you’re looking for a fun-loving, energetic companion who will keep you smiling and your tennis balls well-used, Nibbles may be the perfect match for you!

Shelby

Shelby is a beautiful 1‑year‑old, 60‑lb pup with a gentle heart. She came in scared and wary of everyone, but with time she’s shown just how loyal and affectionate she can be. When she trusts you, she’ll be your constant companion, and her fun, playful side comes alive. Shelby has excellent indoor manners and would thrive in a calm, loving home that lets her feel safe and supported.

Peach

Meet Peach! 🍑 Peach is a sweet 1‑year‑old girl weighing in at 47 pounds, and she’s ready to find a loving home to call her own. She came to the shelter as an owner surrender through no fault of her own, and while the shelter environment can feel overwhelming for her, she’s doing her best to be brave.

With all the noise and activity, Peach can be a little nervous at first, but give her just a few minutes and you’ll see her true colors. Once she warms up, she becomes your loyal shadow—affectionate, gentle, and eager to bond.

Peach loves going for walks and exploring the world at a comfortable pace. She already knows “sit” and is excited to keep learning new things with someone patient and kind. We’ve also heard she previously lived with a cat, which may make her a great fit for a multi‑pet home.

If you’re looking for a young, loving companion who just needs a little reassurance to blossom, Peach might be your perfect match. She’s ready to trade the shelter noise for a cozy home and a best friend of her own.

DIXIE

Female, mixed breed, 1 year old and 30 pounds

This sweet herding-type girl has a gentle soul and a shy streak that’ll melt your heart. Dixie is still learning that the world is a safe and happy place, and she’s looking for a patient home to help her come out of her shell. Around other dogs, she really shines — her tail wags faster, her eyes light up, and you can see her confidence bloom! A doggy friend could be just the thing to help her feel brave and loved.

With a little time, encouragement, and some secure fencing for her safety, Dixie will reward you with loyalty, love, and quiet companionship. She’s the kind of girl who may start out timid but ends up being your most devoted friend. 💕

✨ Give Dixie the chance to bloom — she’s ready to find her forever home! ✨

BETTY

Female, shar-pei mix, 5 years old and 65 pounds

UPDATE 1/21/26

Betty was in foster care for almost 3 months, and only returned to the shelter because her foster mom had a medical issue to deal with. Betty is hypervigilant, possibly due to some trauma. She initially is very shy and withdrawn, shutting down in new environments, however, when she first arrived in foster, it only took a couple of days before she came when called, and went straight into her crate, which is her safe space. She hangs out with a couple of the other dogs, but doesn't initial contact. Once a routine is established, she follows it without problem. She walks ok on leash, but again, is constantly looking around to make sure she's safe. It will take some time for her to develop trust in a human, but once she does, she feels more secure. She is able to bond, and has sat on the couch with her foster mom, putting her head on mom's lap. Betty is a home-body. The best home for her would be one that is predictable, calm, and peaceful.

Betty is a quiet soul with the softest eyes and the gentlest heart. Found abandoned, underweight, and suffering from skin issues, this 5-year-old girl has already been through so much. But thanks to some much-needed care and kindness, Betty is finally starting to heal — both inside and out. She’s still learning that people can be good and that the world doesn’t have to be so scary. Right now, she’s a bit shy and reserved, preferring to observe from a safe distance as she takes everything in. But with time, patience, and a calm environment, we know she’ll blossom into a loyal, loving companion. We’re still getting to know Betty, but what we do know is that she deserves a forever home that will love her unconditionally and give her all the time she needs to feel safe and secure.

If you have a quiet home, a gentle heart, and the patience to let Betty come out of her shell at her own pace — she just might be your perfect match. 💕
