Male, Pyrenees, 5 years old and 74 pounds
Chazz is a true-to-his-breed Great Pyrenees gentleman. Thoughtful, independent, and quietly devoted once you’ve earned his trust. Like many Pyrs, he’s not the type to rush into new friendships. He prefers to take his time, observe from a safe distance, and warm up at his own pace. But once he decides you’re “his person,” you’ll have a loyal guardian for life. Chazz is still building confidence and will need a patient adopter who understands that trust is something special, and worth waiting for. New environments and new people can make him a little unsure at first, but with gentle encouragement and consistency, he continues to blossom.
He’s also working on his leash skills. Walks are a learning experience for him. He seems to perk up and gain confidence when he has another dog by his side. A calm, confident canine companion could be just what he needs to help him shine.
Chazz would do best in a home that appreciates the independent spirit of his breed. Someone who understands that love from a Pyrenees isn’t flashy or over-the-top, but steady, and deeply meaningful. If you’re patient, kind, and ready to help a sensitive soul grow into his best self, Chazz just might be your perfect match!
