RUSTY

Male, mixed breed, 1 year old and 45 pounds

✨ Likes: Toys (all of them), new friends (two-legged AND four-legged), and spontaneous zoomie sessions.
🙅 Dislikes: Sitting still for too long (life’s too short!).
📚 Currently working on: Basic obedience… because apparently “sit” means more than just a suggestion.

Rusty is that goofy best friend who always brings the fun. He’s the life of the party, the toy hoarder, and the zoomie champion rolled into one freckle-faced package. Friendly with people and pups alike, he’s looking for an active family who appreciates a little chaos, a lot of love, and doesn’t mind dog hair as an accessory.

If you’ve got energy to spare and toys to share, Rusty’s ready to steal your heart (and maybe your squeaky ball). 💕🐾

CASPER

Male, pitty mix, 1 year old and 57 pounds

👻 Meet Casper! 👻
Don’t worry—this handsome 1-year-old pittie mix isn’t here to haunt you… unless you count haunting you for belly rubs, treats, and playtime! Casper is all charm, all wiggles, and all heart. He’s a friendly, social butterfly who greets new people like long-lost pals and thinks life is one big game. While he’s still polishing up his manners (basic obedience training is on the to-do list), he’s already catching on to commands and eager to learn. Casper’s ideal match? Someone ready for goofy play sessions, cuddle marathons, and plenty of positive training. With a little guidance, he’ll go from “happy chaos” to “happy gentleman” in no time.

If you’ve been looking for a loyal sidekick with a smile that can light up a room—Casper’s your guy!

COLT

Male, cattle dog mix, 8 months old as of 9/25/25 and 38 pounds

Colt isn’t just a puppy—he’s a full-throttle, four-pawed adventure machine wrapped in fur. This energetic cattle dog mix is built for action, brains, and zoomies that could qualify for Olympic tryouts. He’s looking for a home that can keep up with his big personality and bigger energy needs. Think: daily exercise, training sessions, and someone who appreciates a good set of puppy teeth (because Colt is a bit mouthy—no tiny humans, please).

Colt is still figuring out his doggy manners and will need slow introductions to new canine friends. But with patience, structure, and plenty of toys, this boy will shine brighter than a disco ball at a rodeo. If you’re ready to invest in the “puppy project of a lifetime,” Colt is ready to reward you with laughs, loyalty, and a whole lot of love.

CHUCK

Male, large breed mix, 1 year old and 64 pounds

About Me: Hi, I’m Chuck. I like long runs in the yard, stealing tennis balls, and pretending I don’t know what “sit” means (I totally do, I just like to keep you guessing). I’ve got energy for days, but don’t worry—once I’ve zoomed around a few times, I turn into a very good boy who just wants cuddles and playtime.

Fun Facts:
• I believe gravity is optional. (Got fences? Better make them tall!)
• I’m fluent in “wiggle butt” and “slobbery kisses.”
• I will 100% photobomb your family pictures.

Turn-Ons:
✅ Tall, secure fences
✅ Active humans who like adventure
✅ Treats (lots of them)
✅ Belly rubs after playtime

Turn-Offs:
❌ Boring days with no fetch
❌ Tiny fences (challenge accepted)
❌ People who don’t appreciate zoomies

So… what do you say? Swipe right on Chuck and get ready for the best mix of chaos, comedy, and cuddles you’ve ever had. 💕

RIDGE

Male, mixed breed, 6 years old and 46 pounds

Ridge is a spry, active senior with plenty of pep in his step and a zest for life! Weighing in at 46 pounds, this sweet guy may have a little gray on his muzzle, but don’t let that fool you — he’s still got plenty of adventures left in him. Ridge is incredibly food-motivated, which makes training a breeze! He’s still polishing up his leash manners and could use a refresher on basic obedience, but he’s a quick learner and eager to please (especially if snacks are involved!). He had a nice intro with another dog here at the shelter, showing friendly and appropriate behavior. Ridge may enjoy a calm canine companion, but he’ll need to be fed separately, as he prefers to keep his meals to himself.

If you’re looking for a loyal buddy who’s the perfect mix of seasoned soul and playful spirit, Ridge could be your guy. Come meet him and see if he’s the perfect addition to your pack! 🐶❤️

EASY DAY

18 year old retired racehorse

Easy Day is an 18-year-old retired racehorse with a heart as soft as her name suggests. She left the track at age 5 and has spent her post-racing years enjoying a quieter life. While we don’t have details about her past training, she’s affectionate, loves attention, and especially enjoys being groomed- she’ll happily stand for a good brushing session.

She has mild ringbone in her left hind leg, but our vet believes she’s still suitable for light riding. Easy Day would thrive in a calm, patient environment with someone who understands horses and can offer her consistency and care.

Note: She can be difficult to load into a trailer, so she’ll do best with an experienced handler who can work with her gently and confidently.

If you’re looking for a sweet companion with a lot of love to give, Easy Day might be your perfect match.

BETTY

Female, shar-pei mix, 5 years old and 65 pounds

Betty is a quiet soul with the softest eyes and the gentlest heart. Found abandoned, underweight, and suffering from skin issues, this 5-year-old girl has already been through so much. But thanks to some much-needed care and kindness, Betty is finally starting to heal — both inside and out. She’s still learning that people can be good and that the world doesn’t have to be so scary. Right now, she’s a bit shy and reserved, preferring to observe from a safe distance as she takes everything in. But with time, patience, and a calm environment, we know she’ll blossom into a loyal, loving companion. We’re still getting to know Betty, but what we do know is that she deserves a forever home that will love her unconditionally and give her all the time she needs to feel safe and secure.

If you have a quiet home, a gentle heart, and the patience to let Betty come out of her shell at her own pace — she just might be your perfect match. 💕

RUFUS

Male, large breed mix, 1 years old and 72 pounds

Rufus is a big-hearted boy with an even bigger zest for life! This lovable large breed mix is full of tail wags, playful energy, and an eagerness to make new friends—both human and canine. Whether he’s chasing a ball, exploring the yard, or just soaking up attention, Rufus brings joy wherever he goes. He’s still learning the ropes when it comes to basic manners, so he’ll thrive with someone ready to invest a little time and patience into training. Rufus seems to really enjoy the company of other dogs and would likely do great with a playful pup sibling.

If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate companion who’s always up for an adventure, Rufus might just be your perfect match!

TAYLOR

Male, Pibull mix, 2 years old and 62 pounds

Taylor is a handsome 2-year-old male Pit Bull mix with a playful heart and a gentle soul. This sweet guy loves to romp around, play with toys, and show off his best trick—sit—especially if there’s a treat involved! While Taylor is full of love, he can be a little wary of new people at first. With a slow introduction and a bit of patience, he quickly warms up and reveals his goofy, affectionate side. He’s the kind of dog who forms strong bonds and will be a loyal companion once he feels safe and comfortable.

Taylor may do well with other dogs after a proper introduction, so a meet-and-greet with any potential canine siblings would be a great idea. He’s still young and would thrive with continued training and structure to help him be his best self. If you’re looking for a playful, loving dog with a big heart and a bright future, come meet Taylor—he might just be your new best friend!
