Smiley came to the shelter after a very rough start, arriving emaciated and more than 30 pounds underweight. But even then, his spirit never faded. Through it all, Smiley kept wagging his tail, greeting everyone with the happiest grin and a heart full of love. Thanks to lots of care, good food, and gentle encouragement, Smiley has been working hard on his journey back to a healthy weight, and he’s making wonderful progress. His joyful personality shines brighter every day. He’s a sweet, affectionate boy who loves people, spreads happiness wherever he goes, and truly lives up to his name.
