If you’re looking for a sweet, happy, high-energy adventure buddy, Pepita may be your girl! This adorable Kelpie mix is about a year old and seems to wake up every morning ready to ask, “So…what are we doing today?” 😄

Pepita is full of personality, loves being on the go, and would thrive with an active family who can keep her body and her busy Kelpie brain entertained. Walks, hikes, playtime, training, and adventures are all right up her alley!

When meeting other dogs, Pepita can be a little vocal and frustrated if she can’t immediately go say hello. However, she has lived successfully with another female dog and tested well with a large male dog. She’ll likely benefit from slow, appropriate introductions and continued guidance with her dog-to-dog manners.

Pepita does have a prey drive toward small animals, so a home without cats or other small pets would be the safest fit.
