FURBY

Great Pyrenees X female, 1 year old and 85 beautiful pounds.

Furby is a shy dog and will need help building her confidence, leash work, and socializing with other dogs. She came in as a stray with an unknown background, but we are assuming she has never lived indoors. Furby arrived at our shelter with a nasty ear infection that resulted in a burst eardrum. Our clinic did a great job at fixing her up and she feels sooooo much better—but is still a little hand shy around her head. Our wonderful volunteers are working with Furby, introducing her to a harness. Patience will be needed in Furby’s new home, and we know that patience will be rewarded. Furby appears to prefer men, and will need to meet any potential canine housemates before being adopted.
