Coal is an 8-month-old, 47-pound sweetheart with a big heart and a bright future ahead of him. He came to the shelter as a stray with a bullet lodged in his throat. Thankfully, the clinic was able to remove it, and Coal is recovering well after everything he has been through. This resilient young boy has shown just how sweet and loving he truly is!

Coal enjoys playing with toys, soaking up human attention, and spending quality time with his people. He walks wonderfully on a leash, already knows “sit” and “shake,” and is eager to learn even more. Despite being a young dog, Coal has a mellow side and loves relaxing indoors, especially when he can curl up for a cozy nap on the couch.

Coal has already overcome so much in his short life, and now he’s ready for the best chapter yet: finding a loving forever home where he can feel safe, be cherished, and simply enjoy being a dog. Could you be the one to give this special boy the happy ending he deserves? 🐾❤️
